Located in Dubai, and integrated into an existing non-profit gallery, this project consists of a meditation centre and cafe. The brief also includes a reception and lounge area, changing rooms, different studios, a staff room and small seating areas, other than storage areas.

The light and shadow concept was inspired by the location of the site. As it is exposed from all sides, providing access to the sun throughout all day-time hours. Also, with inspiration from the reigon’s traditional Bedouin culture, shapes and patterns were integrated to be able to create different shadows throughout the space that change during different times of the day.
